Sitting

asking the mind

what are you thinking now

silence in the pure light of bliss

clearness.

I take refuge in the wise ones of all traditions

I take refuge in their teachings and in the paths they have followed

I take refuge in the communities which seek to embody them even to this day

May all beings be free from suffering and creating the causes of suffering

May all beings be happy and create the causes of happiness

May all beings be impartially compassionate towards each other

What seemed like an end

was merely a beginning

the smallest step along the path

at once away from

at once towards

going nowhere

standing still

vast as the cosmos

full of everything

empty of self

impossible to explain

only gratitude remains

here  made manifest

spontaneously

breathing in and out.
